Just the best Japanese restaurant I've ever eaten at. I always ask for the owner, Mr. Choi to cook for us. He's the best. We have a Japanese restaurant in our town, but I'll drive almost two hrs to go here instead. No comparison.
A couple of months ago, my mother and I had dinner here. There was a short wait until we were seated at a hibachi table. The hibachi chef was funny and didn't just repeat the same old hibachi jokes that everyone tells. He was engaging and funny. The food was excellent, and the experience was great. Highly recommend Mikata!
Everything was great! Steak & seafood was cooked perfectly, veggies and rice were delicious along with a very entertaining cook. This place was very open & inviting. Definitely a do-over!!!
